Solucient Top 100 Hospital

The Asheville physicians serve cardiology needs for Mission Hospitals, rated 42nd in the top 50 heart hospitals in the country by US News and World Report. The designation was made in the publication's annual "America's Best Hospitals" issue for July 28. The U.S. News & World Report's hospital survey was its fourteenth. It included 203 hospitals and 17 specialty areas. In addition Money Magazine listed the hospital, and Asheville Cardiology Associates physicians, in its Fall 2003 edition of America's top hospitals.

In all locations, the physicians are on staff at local hospitals and serve as adjunct professors of cardiology at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. They participate as board members of the American Society of Echocardiography, state and national American College of Cardiology committees, and hold leadership roles in the local hospital systems. Physicians continuously advance skills through educational courses, symposiums and research.
